Charles Kent Wilson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 29, 1953, as the son of the Reverend Oscar Wilson. He became interested in the world of music since his childhood years and he often sang in church before their father’s Sunday sermons. Additionally, he also sang in his junior high school choir.
