Webbie is an American actor, songwriter and rapper. Since 2005, he has been a member of the independent Trill Entertainment label. He made his debut in hip-hop with “Gimme That” in 2005. Gangsta Musik featured his songs “Bad Bitch” and “Swerve”. His second album, ‘Savage Life 2″, was released in 2008. Early life
Webster Gradney Jr. was conceived in Baton Rouge (La.) on the 6th September 1985. His mother died at nine years old and his paternal care was divided between his grandmother and father. Gradney Jr. has loved rhymes since he was five years old. Gradney Jr. was a huge fan of hardcore rap artists throughout his childhood. These included Master P, Eightball & MJG from Southern hip hop, the Geto Boys and UGK along with DjTrillReed.

Career
Webbie was first featured on Lil Boosie’s album ‘For My Thugz’ in 2001 on the track ‘Gotta Get It.
Lil Boosie and He released “Ghetto Stories” and “Gangsta Musik”. Mixtapes featured his solo song ‘Give Me That. Trill Entertainment was gaining popularity as a label and was signed to Asylum Records for distribution.
His major-label debut, “Savage Life”, was released by the label in 2005 after he signed with them. It reached the 8th position on the US Billboard 200 charts.
Trill signed Webbie to Atlantic Records’ subsidiary label and was successful in that deal. His next album, “Savage Life 2”, features tracks like “Independent” featuring Boosie and Lil Phat.
His most successful song, which reached the top of the Rap Songs charts and topped the Billboard Hot 100 at number nine, was his 2022 hit.
In 2011, he released his third studio album, ‘Savage Life 3″. The album’s first single was “What’s Happenin”. The album sold more than 50,000 copies. Savage Life 4 is his fourth album.
