Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain popularized the creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, used with extreme parameter settings to create distinctive vocal sounds.

Early Life
Faheem Rashad Najm “T-Pain” was born in Florida on the 30th September 1985. His stage name is a short nickname for “Tallahassee Pain” and was chosen because of the hardships he experienced while living there. T-Pain grew up in a Muslim household where he expressed his lack of interest in the concept of the religion. At the age of 10, he turned his bedroom into a music studio where he started to make his own beats for the first time.
Personal Life
In 2001 T-Pain first met Amber Najm and the two began dating. Later in 2003, the couple got married. They have three children two sons Muziq and Kaydnz Kodah and a daughter named Lyriq. In early 2007 T-Pain found himself involved in a golf cart accident. It was due to a shoot of the music video for Lil’ Kim’s song “Download.” The rapper suffered many cuts including losing 4 teeth and bruises from the accident. Two days after this incident he was back on the stage for his performance. In late 2016 Javona Glover T-Pain’s niece was stabbed to death in a Walgreens in Tallahassee, Florida.

T-Pain released his debut album “Rappa Ternt Sanga” in 2005. The album peaked at number 33 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold. In the United States, his 2007 album “Epiphany” debuted at the top of both the R&B and Billboard 200 charts. T-2008 Pain’s album “Three Ringz” debuted at #1 on the US R&B chart and #4 on the Billboard 200. Revolver, his debut album from 2011, debuted at position seven on the US R&B chart.
His collaboration with Lil Wayne, “T-Wayne,” was released on May 18, 2017. Eight tracks from “T-Wayne,” dubbed “lost demos,” were recorded in 2009.
