Ryan Cabrera was born on July 18, 1982 in Dallas, Texas. For his schooling, he went to Jesuit College Preparatory School. Subsequently, he attended the University of Texas at Dallas. Cabrera had his first foray into the professional music world with the band Rubix Groove, which opened for such artists as Third Eye Blind and Cheap Trick.

Cabrera married Alexis Kaufman, better known as Alexa Bliss, a professional wrestler, in Palm Desert, California in 2022. Cabrera and Alexis started dating in 2022. Cabrera dated singer Ashlee Simpson early in his career, and his performances on her MTV reality program earned a lot of attention.

Cabrera’s second album “You Stand Watching” opened at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 and marketed roughly 37,000 copies in its first week, with the singles “Shine On” and “Photo” among the top sellers. The song “Photo” was sparked by Cabrera’s relationship with Ashlee Simpson. He co-wrote several tracks with Andrew Ripp, a singer-songwriter.
