Early Life
Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz was born on the 10th of January 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States, he is currently 29 years old. His father Raúl Ocasio is a guitarist while his mother María Nelly Ruiz is a backing vocalist. He developed his interest in music because of his parents and also met legendary singers like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown. At an early age, he and his dad used to live for a few years in the United States mostly in Miami and New York. While living there, Rauw was much influenced by the R&B and dancehall musical genres. Moving on to his education, he completed high school graduation and then attended the University of Puerto Rico. During his school, he was interested in sports and played soccer between the age of 6 and 20. Later due to an injury, he quit sports. Although Rauw moved to Florida to attempt to play in the Premier Development League (PDL), unfortunately, he was unselected. After leaving football he started staying in a depression but music helped him to get rid of that.

In 2017, he was signed in by the famous Duars Entertainment music label. He rose to fame after he was selected to be a part of the Los Proximos by Sony Music Latin. His songs including Toda, Fantasias, and Que le de that was viewed over a billion times. He released his debut album in 2020, and he has also been a recipient of various awards.
