Enrique Rubio Gonzalez and Susana Dosamantes conceived Paulina Susana Rubio Dosamantes on June 17, 1971. Her father was a lawyer, and her mother was a Mexican actress. Her mother was the most popular sex symbol in Mexico in the 1970s. Paulina has a half-sister named Ana Paola Rubio and a brother named Enrique Rubio Jr., who works as a lawyer in Mexico. Rubio’s grandma and great-grandmother both sang and played the piano. In 1983, she co-starred in the film El Dia del Compadre with her younger brother. Paulina received her education at the Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico City.
