Early Life
Paris Jackson was born Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson on April 3, 1998, in Beverly Hills, California. Her mother, Debbie Rowe, a dermatology nurse, gave up all parental rights after divorcing Michael Jackson in 1999, and Paris, older brother Michael Joseph (aka Prince), and half-brother Prince Michael (aka Blanket) were raised by their father on Neverland Ranch. Michael was close friends with Macaulay Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor and named them Paris’ godparents. After Michael tragically passed away on June 25, 2009, his mother, Katherine, gained custody of his children. Paris attended the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, where she played softball and flag football and joined the cheerleading squad.
Personal Life
Paris had been using intravenous drugs since the age of 15 and had made multiple suicide attempts. She was enrolled in a therapeutic program, which she was first credited with benefiting her in overcoming her depression. Paris stated that she had actually been badly abused by the school students in 2020. According to TMZ, Pariz attempted suicide in 2019 and was under psychiatric hold at the time. She refuted the suicide attempt and referred to the media as liars. In 2013 as a result of her father’s wrongful death case against AEG, Paris was reunited with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe.
In addition to being a creative force, Paris is an outspoken activist who has developed a reputation for herself by assisting organizations like the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and the Australia Fire Relief Fund. Paris Jackson and her brothers accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards on their father’s behalf in 2010. The following year, she signed to star in the fantasy film ‘Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys’ which is a story adapted from Dennis Christen. She appeared on the cover of Rolling Stones in 2017.
