Career

Laura got her first breakthrough in the famous pre-school show Fun Song Factory. She worked on that show for two and half years until the show ended in 2006. In 2006 she appeared in the films Dead Man’s Cards. Moreover, in the same year, she became the female face of kids’ TV channel Nickelodeon. In 2007, she appeared in the movie Magicians. Later on, in the next year, Laura started guest presenting on GMTV’s Toonattik. In 2009, she co-hosted the UK version of Staraoke on Boomerang. In 2011 she participated in ITV1’s flagship show, Dancing on Ice, and finished in second place. Furthermore, in 2011 she quit her job with Nickelodeon to move away from children’s television and started working as a guest judge on the Channel 5 show Real Food Family Cook Off. In 2012 she appeared as a participant in Series 11 of The Real Hustle and even became the show’s winner. In the same year, she appeared on Celebrity Eggheads.Her show Beat my Build was aired on Channel 4 in 2013. In 2014, she participated in the first series of The Jump. However, she left the show on day five due to losing the ski jump-off.
