Kenya Moore was born on the 24th of January, 1971, in Detroit. Her grandmother and aunt raised Moore. She has revealed that her mother never named her, and since birth, her mother decided to pretend she never had her. Moore graduated from Cass Technical High School in 1989. Kenya parlayed her pageant career into a successful television career, guest-starring on shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Martin, Sparks, Living Single, The Steve Harvey Show, and The Parent ‘Hood, among others.
