Early Life
Iman Vellani was born on the 3rd of September 2002 in Karachi Pakistan where she spent most of her childhood before the family eventually immigrated to Canada. While living in Canada Iman grew up in a family of academics. Her mother is a nurse practitioner while her father is an accountant, and her brother is pursuing his dream to become an engineer.
While a student at the Regional Municipality of York’s Unionville High School Iman didn’t exactly plan on becoming an actress. She was a huge fan of comic books and was heavily influenced by actor Robert Downy JR. She was allowed to become whatever she want so Iman decided to become an actor at an early age. Her parents gave her $20 every month and she take that money to the comic shop a place named “Heros World.” That’s where Iman started her comic book obsession by picking up a collection of an invincible Iron Man.

In particular, she gravitated towards the trade paperback invincible Iron Man, Iron Heart, written by Brin Michael, which largely collected the first 5 problems of the series. It was in those very pages where Iman met the character of Miss Marvel.
Kamala Khan was first created by American-Pakistain comic book editor Sana Manat alongside writer G Willow Wilson artist Adrian Alfano and Jamie Mckelvie, as well as co-editor Stephen.
