Frank Lampard was destined to father, Frank Lampard Sr and mother, Pat Lampard on 20 June 1978. Brought into the world in Romford, London, England, he holds English nationality. He is the youngest of his folks and has two elder sisters named Natalie and Claire.  His dad was a previous expert football player for West Ham United and furthermore an associate chief with West Ham United. Harry Redknapp, the previous lead trainer of the Birmingham City football team, is his uncle.  He began his playing career by joining the young club of West Ham United in 1994 in which his dad was the associate mentor.

Club Career

Lampard was the member of West Ham United until 2001 where he played 148 matches and scored 24 goals. But after switching over to Chelsea, he remained there until 2014 with making 429 appearances and scoring 147 goals. This made him the highest scorer for Chelsea. His associations with Manchester United and New York City FC in his later days didn’t go too well for a player like him.

Career

Frank Lampard started his career at his father’s former club, West Ham United, where he joined the youth team in 1994. He signed a professional contract with the club in 1995, but made his debut for the Second Division Swansea City team in October that year, while playing nine matches as a loan player. He scored his first goal against Brighton & Hove Albion before returning to West Ham in January 1996; following which he debuted for the team as a substitute against Coventry City on 31st January. Lampard debuted for Chelsea in 2001 against Newcastle United and was named in the ‘PFA Team of the Year’ in 2004.

He scored both the goals in Chelsea’s 2-0 win against Bolton Wanderers, winning the Premier League title for the team and earning the 2005 ‘Footballer of the Year award’ for himself.  His MLS debut was subsequently delayed as he kept playing for parent club Manchester City. It was later revealed that he never actually signed the contract.
