Aubrey Graham was born in Toronto, Ontario on the 24th of October, 1986. His parents split up when he was only 5 years old, and Drake lived with his mother in Toronto. His father was a drummer and moved to Memphis after the divorce to find work. Drake’s mother was Jewish, and so he attended a Jewish day school and had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. Drake was often bullied in school for his racial and religious background, and he eventually dropped out of school.
Drake has had a number of high profile relationships over the years. He dated Rihanna on and off between 2009 and 2016. He would later describe Rihana as “the woman I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old.” In October 2017 a french model/actress/artist named Sophie Brussaux gave birth to his son Adonis. Drake did not confirm his fatherhood until 2018.
Drake went to Forest Hill Collegiate High School where he used to study arts. Although, his time in the school wasn’t that good. Drake was often bullied for his skin color and his religious beliefs. Drake has started his career in 2001, with the television series, Degrassi: The Next Generation. He became quite famous with the show, although his love for singing always remained back in his mind. Drake first released a mixtape in 2006 and continued releasing it till 2009. He became successful with his three mixtapes and was later signed by Young Money Entertainment in 2009. His debut album was released in 2010 and named Thank Me Later. The album topped at Billboard 200 chart. His second and third albums, Take Care (2011) and Nothing Was The Same (2013) became extremely successful and provided him with great commercial success. Later, Drake released three more albums and became quite popular. Drake has done many tours and collaborations as well, which gave him worldwide recognition.
