Career
Bassols graduated from the American School of Barcelona in 1997. Her education includes a degree in Musical Comedy (Coco Comín, Barcelona), with further drama studies in Paris, London, Los Angeles, at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. She also studied English language and literature at the University of Barcelona. In 2007, Bassols appeared with Amber Tamblyn in the film Blackout; and in 2008 was featured in the PBS series Spain… on the road Again alongside Mario Batali, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Mark Bittman. Bassols has completed filming a lead role in the forthcoming The Eagle Path, also starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. In October 2010 Bassols was included in Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Women Alive Atlas.
