1981-1991

At the time of 2016’s Republican Party presidential primaries, Ginni supported Ted Cruz. Then, she backed Donald Trump after he won the Republican nomination. She also served on the advisory committee for Turning Point USA. Thomas is known due to her controversial social media posts. The Washington Post wrote that she shared “nakedly partisan, erroneous propaganda”. Thomas is a member of the conservative group known as the Groundswell group. According to a February, 2020 article written by Jonathan Swan in Axios, she has actively encouraged Trump to change his personnel within his administration.
