Early Life
Alejandro Fernandez was born on April 24, 1971, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. His father is the famous actor and ranchero performer Vicente Fernandez, and made his first appearance in public at age five on one of the father’s productions. He has a sister called Alejandra and two elder brothers, named Vicente Jr. and Gerardo. In the latter part of the nineties, Vicente Jr. was abducted by an organized crime gang and was forced to have one of his fingers cut off as warning to his father.
